Registration is NOW OPEN for our Winter Player Development Clinics for the following current BWHA players:
- Players rostered to a 2021-22 competitive team
- Players rostered to a 2021-22 DS team
- U11 and U18 house league players
Winter Session 1 - Skills and Team Play
January 5, 12, 19, 26, February 2, 9
National Training Rinks - Barrie
This 6-week program will focus on the core skills of hockey. Skating, shooting, passing, and puck control will all be developed to give players greater ability and higher confidence in their game.
6:00pm U9 & U11 (born 2011-2014)
7:00pm U11 & U13 (born 2009-2012)
8:00pm U13, U15 & U18 (born 2004-2010)
Registration Fee: $120.00 per skater
Winter Session 2 - Small Area Skills
February 16, 23, March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
National Training Rinks - Barrie
This 7-week program will focus on the building and refining hockey skills related to using small areas of ice. Puck control, puck protection, explosive skating techniques.
6:00pm U9 & U11 (born 2011-2014)
7:00pm U11 & U13 (born 2009-2012)
8:00pm U13, U15 & U18 (born 2004-2010)
Registration Fee: $140.00 per skater
Important notes:
- A registration fee of $20/week will be charged - $120 for a 6-week session - $140 for a 7-week
session - To be eligible, players must be rostered to a 2021-22 competitive team, a 2021-22 DS team, or a U11 or U18 house league team
- All sessions will be held at National Training Rinks (NTR) Barrie - 120 Big Bay Point Road
- Players may register for 1 or both of the winter development sessions - within your age group.
- Spaces are limited to 18 skaters per session. Advanced registration is required through our online
registration system. - Parents entering the NTR facility will need to submit Covid-19 screening form from the NTR
website. - Parents will also be required to produce proof of vaccination to be allowed in the NTR facility.
