U11 Coaches for the 2022-2023 Season Announced
The Barrie Women's Hockey Association is excited to announce the head coaches for our 2022-2023 U11 competitive teams.
2022-2023 U11-AA Sharks - Head Coach: Jerry O’Hara
Jerry O’Hara has been coaching hockey and other youth and women’s sports teams for over 10 years. Jerry first assisted with our Barrie Sharks teams in 2019, and was assistant coach for the U11-AA team in 2021-2022. As an assistant coach with the Department of National Defense’s Women’s National Hockey Team for a decade, Jerry helped lead teams representing the Canadian Armed Forces in international competition. Through his experience, Jerry has seen firsthand the benefits of sport in developing excellent individuals on and off the ice, and he is excited to lead a U11-AA program which will take our players to the next level.

2022-2023 U11-2 Sharks (A/BB/B) - Head Coach: Tim Hatch
Tim Hatch has been a volunteer with the BWHA for 4 seasons, including as head coach of our U9 Competitive Team for the 2021-2022 season, and our U9 Competitive Development program in the 2020-2021 season. As a parent of 4 children, and former elementary school teacher, Tim has over 25 seasons worth of experience coaching and leading you sports.
The exact competitive level for our U11-2 team (A, BB or B) will be determined through tryouts in September.
