As we bid farewell to yet another exhilarating season of house league hockey, we're filled with gratitude for the unwavering support of our dedicated coaches, staff, players, and families. Their commitment and passion have been the driving force behind the success of our teams, making each game and practice session a memorable experience for all involved.

Recapping the Highlights

From the youngest players in the U7 category to the seasoned competitors in the U18 division, every team showcased remarkable skill, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the season. The U7 players had a blast at the fun day event, joining forces with other SMGHL participating centers for a day filled with laughter and camaraderie. Throughout the season, teams battled fiercely for the coveted top spot, resulting in an array of thrilling matchups and nail-biting finishes. In particular, our U11 Silver team emerged as division champions, dominating the regular season with their impressive performance on the ice. Meanwhile, our U18 Barrie Orange Team secured a well-deserved victory in the Barrie Cup, solidifying their status as a force to be reckoned with in the league.

Championship Weekend Extravaganza

The culmination of this year's season came with Championship Weekend, a culmination of months of hard work and dedication. The arena buzzed with excitement as families and friends gathered to cheer on their favorite teams. From heart-pounding shootouts to epic overtime battles, every game was a testament to the skill and determination of our players. By the end of the day, five of our Barrie teams proudly claimed gold, while another five took home silver, ensuring that every participant left with a well-earned sense of accomplishment.
