The OWHA defines minimum requirements for all team staff positions. In order to register your team roster with the OWHA, these minimum requirements must be met.

Requirements are submitted online as part of the staff registration process, using the Ramp Registration system. It is up to each volunteer to maintain there volunteer profile and to know whether all requirements have been fulfilled - if in doubt, please ask! REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL POSITIONS:

Step 1 - Choose "ONTARIO HOCKEY FEDERATION' from drop down list

Step 2 - Click on the General button under categories on the left part of the screen

Step 3 - Choose the course you are looking for

Police Background Checks
All team staff - including head coaches, assistant coaches, practice staff, trainers, managers, etc. - most provide an acceptable police background check, including vulnerable sector screening. For more information, see our Police Background Check requirements page.

Respect in Sport
All team staff - including head coaches, assistant coaches, practice staff, trainers, managers, etc. - most have completed the Respect in Sport Hockey Activity Leaders - and a copy of the certificate of completion must be provided to [email protected].
