This season, the BWHA proudly launched our Woman in Leadership, Coaching, and Mentor Group – a dynamic community of like-minded women dedicated to supporting, learning, and elevating female leaders in hockey. Throughout our meetings, we've set ambitious goals for our efforts and discussions:
· Motivate more women to get involved with the BWHA.
· Celebrate the successes of our incredible athletes.
· Inspire more girls to stay in sport longer.
Our discussions have been fueled by a shared commitment to breaking down barriers and prioritizing actionable strategies for the future. As we wrap up this season, we're thrilled to unveil some exciting plans that will propel us closer to our goals in the upcoming 2024-2025 season.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us on this empowering journey. We invite and encourage all members to join our discussions and efforts as we continue to champion women in hockey.
